We specialize in Digital Mammography. Phoenix Technology Consulting, LLC a privately-owned company based in Roswell, Georgia, has provided physics consulting services to clients in the southeastern United States for over 25 years.

The annual mammography survey report is designed to follow the ACR format. This outline allows the client to easily understand the information provided in an effort to facilitate inspection by ACR/MQSA as well as submission of data for accreditation. A mammography dosimetry report describing the dose in mrads per view is provided for each unit evaluated and should be posted adjacent to the machine. Additionally, each report includes the curriculum vitae for the surveyor as well as a signed attestation form.

Phoenix Technology Corporation performs radiological safety and radiation output calibration data on conventional diagnostic x-ray equipment on an annual interval, as recommended by JCAHO. All surveys are conducted in accordance with State, Federal and JCAHO requirements. The objective for the survey is to provide data interpretations which will be meaningful to the user.

Some of the areas assessed are: Image Quality. Patient and Personnel radiation dosimetry. Scatter radiation measurements for fluoroscopy. Estimated skin entrance exposure for conventional x-ray.

Reports provided to the client include a summary of any defects noted as well as recommended corrective action when appropriate. Patient estimated skin entrance exposure charts are provided for patient dose interpretation.
